Privacy Policy
What Leash Loam collects, what we don't, and how to reach us about your data — in plain English.
The short version
Leash Loam is a content site, not a store. We don’t hold accounts, we don’t take payments, and we don’t sell your personal data— ever. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form, plus anonymous, aggregate analytics about how the site is used.
What we collect
The contact form
If you email us or fill in the contact form, you send us your name, email address, and message. That message is delivered to our inbox as an email — sent through Microsoft’s email service (Microsoft 365 / Graph) — so we can read it and reply. We use those details only to respond to you and to keep the correspondence; we don’t add you to a marketing list.
Basic analytics
We use Google Analytics 4to understand traffic in aggregate — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. This helps us decide what to write next. Google sets its own cookies to do this and processes the data under its own privacy terms. The picture we get is about pages and trends, not about identifying you personally.
Affiliate link clicks
When you click one of our buy links, we log an anonymous eventthat a link was clicked — which link, not who you are. It tells us whether a recommendation is useful; it is not tied to your identity.
Cookies from retailers
When you click through to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer sets its own cookiesso it can credit us for the referral and run its own site. Those cookies, and the data they collect, are governed by the retailer’s privacy policy, not ours. How the referral works is explained in our affiliate disclosure. We never see your payment details or what you ultimately buy at a personal level.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We don’t run accounts, logins, or stored payment methods.
- We don’t collect sensitive personal data, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, which will limit analytics and retailer tracking. To ask what we hold about you, or to have your contact-form message deleted, email info@leashloam.comand we’ll take care of it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes we’ll update this page and its date. Questions about your data? Email info@leashloam.com or use our contact page.
