The short version

Some of the links on Leash Loam are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone straight to the retailer. That commission is what keeps the site free to read and free of pop-up ad clutter.

Amazon Associates

Leash Loam is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Our Associates tag is t5dogs-20, and you may see it appended to the Amazon links we use. When you buy a qualifying product after clicking one of our links, Amazon pays us a percentage of the sale; you pay the normal Amazon price.

How our links are built

  • Routed through a redirect. Our buy buttons point to a cloaked /go redirect on our own domain, which then forwards you to the retailer with our tag attached. This keeps links tidy and lets us fix a broken destination in one place.
  • Marked as sponsored. Affiliate links carry rel=“sponsored”, the attribute search engines use to identify a paid relationship, so the disclosure is machine-readable as well as written here.
  • Clearly labeled on the page. Every page that carries buy links shows a short funding note above the first one, so you are never surprised.

The rule commission never breaks

This is the part that matters: commission never changes which product we recommend.We pick on published specs, fit, and safety data — not on which link pays the most. If a cheaper option is the better buy for your dog, that cheaper option is our pick, even when it earns us less or nothing at all. Plenty of the products we recommend against would have paid us if we’d ranked them higher. We didn’t. About the prices

Prices come from a live, daily checkof the retailer and carry the date they were pulled. Prices change constantly, so treat ours as a recent snapshot rather than a guarantee — the price and availability at checkout are what count. If our price check stops updating, we let the number expire rather than show you a stale figure.
